After searching for childcare for their own children, the founders recognized that many centers focus primarily on supervision rather than actively nurturing each child’s strengths.
Till Academy was built to create an environment where children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop their abilities, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Why “Till”?
The name Till Academy comes from the gardening process of tilling the soil with the use of a garden “ROTARY TILLER” (Formal term) OR “TILLER” (informal term).
Before seeds can grow, the soil must be prepared properly. A Tiller or Till (for short) is the proper tool/machinery that farmers use to mend, mix and prepare the garden soil for seedlings to grow. This process of tilling prepares the soil in a manner that maximizes the seedling’s potential to grow strong and healthy when the time comes for them to be planted in the ground. Just as the soil serves as the foundation for seedlings. Early childhood education (6weeks-PreK-5) serves as the foundation for children all over the world. As parents, investing in our children’s early childhood education is one of the most critical investments as it pertains to maximizing their growth and potential. What Your Child’s Day May Look Like
A typical day at The Till Academy balances learning, creativity, and play.
A child’s day may include:

Limited Enrollment
Although our facility can potentially accommodate up to 150 children, we plan to maintain enrollment closer to 130 students to preserve a more personalized learning environment.
Because of this, available spots will be limited.
Families across Red Oak, Lancaster, Ovilla, DeSoto, Midlothian, Waxahachie, Glenn Heights, and Ellis County are encouraged to secure their spot early.
